Warming Autumn Drinks

Nothing screams autumn quite like cosy drinks to warm you up from the inside out. From Black Forest, pumpkin spice and blood orange, there’s always a new spice to try at traditional coffee stores and takeouts.

Try creating your own drinks this year with these classic flavours combinations.

Simple ingredients, easy to make and the volume is up to you!

Cosy Chocolate Orange

  • 250ml chocolate milk
  • 1 strip orange peel
  • 30g dark chocolate

Directions:

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water or in a microwavable bowl in the microwave
  2. Mix the melted chocolate with chocolate milk and orange peel
  3. Froth using a milk frother, whisk or add to a jar with lid on and shake until smooth and frothy

Spiced Vanilla

  • 250ml milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Add the vanilla and cinnamon to a mug and froth
  2. Froth using a milk frother, whisk or add to a jar with lid on and shake until smooth and frothy

Autumn Spiced

  • 250ml milk
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Mix together the cinnamon and nutmeg
  2. Add to the milk with the honey or maple syrup
  3. Froth using a milk frother, whisk or add to a jar with lid on and shake until smooth and frothy
