What could be better on a Sunday morning than a delicious stack of pancakes. Try something a little different with these easy chia seed pancakes, using simple ingredients, quick to make and super yummy.
Ingredients
- 190g flour
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 360ml milk
- 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Olive, vegetable oil or butter
Method
- Mix together the flour, chia seeds, salt and baking powder in a large bowl
- Mix in the honey, vinegar, milk and vanilla
- Leave to sit for 5-10 minutes
- Heat a pan over a medium to low heat and add a small amount of your oil or butter
- Place one scoop of the pancake mix into the pan at a time. Cook for 2 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired consistency!
- Repeat with the remaining mix then top with all your favourite toppings.
