Blueberry Chia Jam

This jam is really simple to make, with only 3 ingredients! Using chia seeds helps to thicken the jam and most importantly adds plenty of fibre, protein and omega-3 fatty acids.

Makes 1 medium jar 


  • 300g blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds


  1. Add the blueberries to a saucepan over a low-medium heat
  2. As the blueberries begin to soften slightly, stir regularly and add the honey 
  3. When the blueberries are starting to fall apart, add the chia seeds and stir through 
  4. Let the mixture come to a slow boil, mash the blueberries with a potato masher or fork if needed and continue to cook while stirring for 15 minutes, or until a jam consistency is reached 
  5. Pour into a jam jar or tupperware and allow to cool in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight
