Festive Fruit and Nut Bark

A delicious chocolate bark that’s easy to make with festive flavours of cranberry and peacans. This chocolate bark would make a great addition to any festive spread or a lovely edible gift. 

Ingredients 

  • 100g dried cranberries 
  • 50g glace cherries, sliced 
  • 85g pecans, toasted and sliced 
  • 50g walnuts, toasted and chopped 
  • 400g milk chocolate 
  • 400g white chocolate 

Method 

  1. Add the pecans and walnuts to a pan over a low heat for 3-5 minutes or until toasted 
  2. Melt your milk chocolate either in the microwave using a microwavable bowl heating for 30 seconds, storing and repeat, or over a pan of simmering water in a glass bowl 
  3. Pour the chocolate into a lined baking dish or tray and leave to set in the fridge for 1 hour 
  4. Melt the white chocolate, using the same method as above, then mix with  3/4 of the cranberries, cherries, pecans and walnuts
  5. Pour the white chocolate mix on top of the milk chocolate and top with the remaining fruit and nuts 
  6. Press the extra fruit and nut into the chocolate then place in the fridge and allow to set for 2 hours or over night 
  7. Break into chunks and enjoy!
