Porridge inspiration to ease into a new week. Porridge is a great meal to start the day – balanced with carbohydrates and protein and easy to add fats with nut butter, nuts or seeds and tick one of your five-a-day off if you add fruit.
This is a super simple and easy recipe, perfect for mornings on a time limit!
Makes 1 bowl
- 100g blackberries
- 50g oats
- 200ml milk
- Handful of pistachios
- Handful of almonds
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp honey
- Heat the blackberries either in the microwave or in a saucepan on the hob until softened and runny
- Cook oats according to packet insturctions
- Top the oats with the blackberries along with the pistachios, almonds, peanut butter and honey
