Blackberry Porridge

Porridge inspiration to ease into a new week. Porridge is a great meal to start the day – balanced with carbohydrates and protein and easy to add fats with nut butter, nuts or seeds and tick one of your five-a-day off if you add fruit.

This is a super simple and easy recipe, perfect for mornings on a time limit!

Makes 1 bowl


  • 100g blackberries
  • 50g oats
  • 200ml milk
  • Handful of pistachios
  • Handful of almonds
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey


  1. Heat the blackberries either in the microwave or in a saucepan on the hob until softened and runny
  2. Cook oats according to packet insturctions
  3. Top the oats with the blackberries along with the pistachios, almonds, peanut butter and honey
